How an online reading works here

A physical reader shuffles, cuts and lays cards in positions. This site does the same in code: your browser shuffles the whole deck with the Fisher–Yates method, deals the top cards into the positions of the spread you chose, and decides for each one whether it lands upright or reversed. Nothing is sent to a server unless you press the AI button.

Each card links to its full meaning page with upright and reversed readings, love and work angles, and a question to sit with. The deck follows the Rider–Waite–Smith tradition that most modern decks are built on: 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana in four suits.

Treat what you see as a mirror rather than a forecast. The most useful readings are the ones where a card makes you notice something you had been avoiding.

Questions people ask

Is this tarot reading really free?

Yes. Every spread, the card of the day and all 78 card meanings are free with no sign-up. The optional AI interpretation is free too, with a small hourly limit to keep it fair for everyone.

How are the cards shuffled?

Your browser shuffles a full 78-card deck with the Fisher–Yates algorithm using its built-in cryptographic random number generator, so every card and every order is equally likely. Nothing is weighted or pre-picked.

Can tarot predict the future?

There is no scientific evidence that tarot predicts events. Most modern readers use it as a prompt for reflection: the images give you a new angle on a situation you already know well. We present every reading that way.

What does a reversed card mean?

A card drawn upside down usually points to the same theme blocked, turned inward or delayed. You can switch reversals off in any reading if you prefer upright-only.

Which spread should I choose?

Use one card or yes/no for a quick check-in, three cards to see how a situation developed, and the ten-card Celtic Cross when you want a full picture of something complicated.
