What makes a good question for the AI reader
- Be specific about you. “How can I approach the conversation with my sister?” gives the reader more to work with than “Will things be okay?”
- Ask open questions. “What am I not seeing about this move?” invites reflection; “Will I get the flat?” invites a guess.
- Keep it to one topic. Two questions in one reading blur the positions.
How it's different from a chatbot pretending to shuffle
Many “AI tarot” tools ask a language model to invent the cards as well as interpret them. Models are bad at randomness and tend to repeat favourite cards. Here the shuffle is done by your browser's cryptographic random generator over the full 78-card deck, and the model is given exactly the cards you turned over. You can check every card against its traditional meaning.

How does the AI tarot reading work?
Your browser shuffles and draws the cards exactly as in our other spreads. Only when you press "Interpret with AI" are the card names, positions and your question sent to a language model (via Vercel AI Gateway), which writes a reading that connects them. It never picks the cards.
Is the AI reading free?
Yes. To keep it free for everyone there is a limit of a few interpretations per visitor every ten minutes.
Is my question stored?
We do not store questions on a server or tie them to you. The text is passed to the model to write the reading and is not kept by this site. See the privacy page for details.
Is an AI tarot reading accurate?
An AI reading is exactly as predictive as any other tarot reading, which is to say not at all. What it does well is weave traditional meanings into your situation so you have something concrete to reflect on.
What will the AI refuse to do?
It will not give medical, legal or financial advice, will not claim to know the future or another person's thoughts, and will stay on tarot and reflection.
